We, the Kerala Minerals and Metals LTD., a Govt. of Kerala Public Sector Undertaking and the sole indigenous manufacturer of Rutile Grade Titanium Dioxide Pigment, invite applications from eligible candidates for the posts mentioned below:
Positions: Junior Operator Trainee & Others
Total Vacancies: 51 Posts
Age as of 01.01.2020: Not above 26 years, relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC as per Company rules
Period of Training/ Scale of pay and remuneration
The candidates will be selected as trainees and they will have to undergo training for a period of one year on a monthly stipend of Rs.10000/- .On satisfactory completion of training, the candidates will be appointed as Junior Operator/Junior Boiler cum Utility Operator/Junior Technician Welder / Junior Technician Fitter / Junior Technician Machinist as the case may be, on an initial basic pay of Rs. 21580/- per month in the scale
of pay of Rs.21580-730-24500-830-29480-970-34330-1120-39930-1270-50090-1410-55730 plus DA and other allowances. In such cases, they will have to execute an agreement to serve the Company for a minimum period of four years after completion of training.
Stipend: Rs. 10,000/- PM, after completion of training, salary will be Rs. 21,580/- PM

Educational Qualification:
Junior Operator Trainee:
Candidates must possess Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Degree in Chemistry with minimum 60% of marks.
Junior Boiler cum Utility Operator Trainee:
Candidates must possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1st Class or 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of competency or SSLC with SSLC with ITI in the trade of Fitter and 1st Class or 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Proficiency.
Junior Technician Trainees:
Candidates must complete ITI in the trades of Fitter/ Welder/ Machinist from a recognized Institute or Diploma (Mechanical) Engineering
Age Limit:
Candidates age must be maximum 26 years as on 01-01-2020.
Note:-
- Whereas diploma specified as required qualification, approved Diploma (regular) with 3 years duration will only be considered.
2. Candidates who obtained their Diploma through Lateral Entry after 31.01.2014 from the institution outside Kerala is not qualified as per G.O(MS)No.455/2014/H.Edn dated 09.07.2019 otherwise possessing equivalency certificate from Govt. of Kerala.
3. Candidates should be able to speak, read and write Malayalam.
4. Application fee is Rs.300/- for General/OBC candidates. There is no fee for SC/ST candidates. Fee payment will have to be made in DD in the name of The Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited payable at Chavara. Applications submitted without fee shall not be considered.
