CSIR-NAL is a unit under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous
body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Applications are invited from
qualified candidates (Indian nationals) who meet the necessary educational and work requirements for
engagement of Project Staff to work in various projects at CSIR-NAL. The engagement of Project Staff is
purely on temporary and contract basis under the CSIR/Externally funded /Other projects undertaken
by CSIR-NAL. The engagement shall be for short period and co-terminus with the project.

STIPEND
Project Assistant: ₹20,000/- + HRA
Project Associate-I
(A) ₹31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET
including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process t hrough National level
examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
(B) ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (A) above
Project Associate-II
(i) ₹35,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through a process as mentioned in (A) above.
(ii) ₹28,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (A) above
Senior Project Associate: ₹42,000/- + HRA
Research Associate-I: ₹47,000/- + HRA
Principal Project Associate: ₹49,000/- + HRA
HOW TO APPLY

- Only candidates who fulfill the above eligibility criteria may fill in the ONLINE application available
through our website: https://www.nal.res.in. No other mode of application will be considered. - The candidate should have a valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number which should be kept active
till the completion of this Recruitment Process. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail
ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID and mobile number before applying ONLINE and must
maintain same e-mail account and mobile number. - Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before filling the ONLINE application.
- ONLINE application will be available on CSIR-NAL website https://www.nal.res.in which opens on
09.04.2022 (09.30 a.m. onwards) and closes on 30.04.2022 (till 5.00 p.m.). Candidates should take print
out of the successfully submitted ONLINE application form for future reference. Print-out of the ONLINE
application will not be available after 05.00 pm on last date of ONLINE registration i.e., 30.04.2022. - Candidates are required to upload his/her recent passport size scanned photograph (max size 50KB).
- In case of Universities / Institutes awarding CGPA/SGPA/OCPA grades etc., candidates are required to
convert the same into percentage based on the formula as per their University / Institute. - Candidates should keep a copy of the application print-out for their record.
- Candidate are informed to register only once for each post. Multiple registration for different posts
will not be accepted. IN CASE A CANDIDATE SUBMITS MULTIPLE ONLINE APPLICATIONS WITH
DIFFERENT EMAIL ID’s OR MOBILE NUMBERS, HIS/HER APPLICATION WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY
