Jindal Institute of Power Technology (JIPT) is recognized by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Ministry of Power, Government of India as Category-I Institute. The Institute possesses Simulators of 135 MW / 250 MW / 600 MW generating units & state of the art infrastructure. The course authorizes the pass outs to operate or undertake maintenance of any part or whole of a generating station, together with the associated substations.
One Year Post Graduate Diploma Course in Power (PGDC)
Eligibility: A full time 4 year BE / B Tech degree from a recognized Institute in Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / Electronics / Control & Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 60 % marks in BE / B. Tech.
Age: Not more than 28 years as on July 01, 2021
Total Number of Seats: 110
Fee: INR 125000.00 payable in four instalments
One Year Post Diploma Course in Power (PDC)
Eligibility: A 3 year diploma from a recognized Institute in Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / Electronics / Control & Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 60 % marks in Diploma.
Age: Not more than 27 years as on July 01, 2021
Total Number of Seats: 50
Tuition Fee: INR 75000.00 payable in four installments. (Huge subsidy over other recognized institute)
Rest all facilities shall be provided at reasonable cost
Fee Concession offered: 40,30,20 & 10 % concession to first five students shall be as per JIPT entrance exam merit.
How to Apply: Application Form is available on JIPT Website (www.jipt.org). The Application Form is to be filled online. Application Fee of INR 500/- is to be paid Online through Paytm ( Net banking, Debit card, Credit card & Paytm Wallet). Apply Online
Selection Process: The candidates will be required to appear in an Objective Type Online Test & Personal Interview. The online test can be availed on any computer/laptop with high-speed Internet Connectivity. The link address will be provided through the mail.
