Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released a notification for recruitment to the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT). Candidates holding the requisite qualification and experience can submit applications online on or before 13 May 2022. A total of 259 vacancies will be recruited through this recruitment process. Pay Matrix Level-7 (Rs.44,900 – Rs.1,42,400), Group-‘B’ Non-Gazetted
Educational Qualification
2nd Class Bachelor Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized
University with B.Ed.
However, candidates that have appeared or are appearing in the final
semester/year examination shall also be eligible to apply, subject to production of
Original Certificate/Mark Sheet at the time of Viva Voce /Interview.
AGE
Candidates should not be less than 21 years ofage and not more
than 33 years of age as on 13.05.2022, However, the upper age limit is
relaxed by 5 years for APST and another 5 years for Government and Semi
Covernment Departmental Staff of the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
For APST PwD candidates, upper age limit will be relaxed by
15 years.
SELECTION PROCESS
- Written Examination.
Eligible Applicants will be required to undertake a
Written Examination in the following subjects:-
I. GeneralEnglish—————–100Marks.
II. General Knowledge———— 100 Marks.
IIl. Concerned subjects :-
(a) Paper I ———————-100 Marks.
(0bjective Type and shall Cover entire syllabus of Concerned subJect).
(b) Paper II 100 Marks’ (Conventional Essay Type, Covering the entire syllabus of Concerned subject].
To qualify, an applicant must score a minimum of 33% in each subject as also, a minimum of 45o/o in aggregate score. 0f such qualified candidates, a number three times the advertised posts (Approximately 777), in the order of merit,
will be eligible and invited for the Interview/Viva-Voce.
2 Interview/Viva-Voce
Viva Voce followed by
Classroom Teaching————-50 Marks tv.
Will be conducted in the premises of the Commission.
3 NOTE.
The Commission reserved the right to conduct a
‘Recruitment Test’ (Preliminary TestJ, if the number of
Applicants is significantly large. The’Recruitment Test’ will
be Multiple Choice, Objective Type, to be answered on oMR
Sheet in Concerned Subiect.
Based on the Order of Merit of the ‘Recruitment Test’,
Applicants, twelve times the advertised posts will be eligible
and invited for the Written Examination.
4 Final Merit List of Successful Applicants notified by this
Commission, will be based on the aggregate marks of the
written examination and lnterview/Viva-Voce.

3.Submit only one application. In case of more than one
application, Application with the higher RID only will be

4.Fee has to be paid separately for each application and is nontransferable.
